CHARTER

for

SOLANA AT HERONS GLEN HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION, INC.

GROUNDS COMMITTEE

and

DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
 

  1. I.   MEMBERSHIP

    • The Grounds Committee shall consist of at least five (5) members, one of whom shall be a Director who will chair the Committee.

    • Two (2) members of the Grounds Committee shall be appointed by its Chair to the Design Review Board., which the Director member shall also chair.

  1. II.  RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES and RELATIONSHIPS

A. GROUNDS COMMITTEE

    • Develop, propose for adoption by the Board of Directors and, upon approval, publish to all residents consistent landscape standards applicable to all homes and common areas in Solana.

    • Review and approve, or reject, all applications for change submitted by homeowners. Work with those who may submit non-complying proposals to achieve a complying plan.

    • Administer and enforce Solana HOA standards and those of Herons Glen HOA by monitoring the neighborhood for uniform compliance.

    • Promptly evaluate and resolve any outstanding citations for non-compliance.

    • Collaborate with Management and contractors to secure consistently satisfactory services performance and results.

    • Collaborate with Herons Glen HOA Grounds Committee to secure a harmonious relationship and assure compatible planning.

    • Prepare a prioritized long range plan for improving the appearance of common areas for consideration by the Board of Directors. Propose a timetable for implementation with estimated costs by project and year.

    • Administer the Solana Lighting Policy and its replacement services.

B. DESIGN REVIEW BOARD

    • Develop, as appropriate, and propose for adoption by the Board of Directors, architectural standards supplemental to those contained in the Declaration of Covenants.. Publish any such supplementary standards to all Solana residents when adopted.

    • Review and approve, or reject, all applications for change submitted by homeowners. Work with those who may submit non-complying proposals to achieve a complying plan.

    • Administer and enforce Solana HOA standards and those of Herons Glen HOA by monitoring the neighborhood for uniform compliance.

    • Promptly resolve any outstanding citations for non-compliance.

    • Collaborate with Herons Glen Architectural Review Board to secure a harmonious relationship and assure compatible planning.

Notice of all meetings, which are open to SHOA members, will be posted on the SHOA website. Minutes of meetings will be provided to the Secretary of Solana HOA.
